The Secret to Successful Digital Marketing

 This is Subhabrata, an intern of DDIP. I prefer to study different topics which are written from different angles. So I have studied different subjects regarding content marketing, SEO, Digital Marketing. Today I try to explain the secret to Digital Marketing in a very easy way. 



I think Marketing is basically the process of understanding the customers, maintaining the relationship and promoting the product or service as per client's requirements. So that we need to check the client's requirements before launching the product or service. In a previous year, people used traditional marketing such as posters, banners, tv, radio etc to reach the audience. Traditional Marketing still lives a important role in the arena of marketing. But due to time changes, the new concept of marketing has taken a positive role to achieve the goal i.e Digital Marketing. This is a process of marketing through different digital channels such as search engines, websites, social media, email, and mobile apps. To send the right message to the right audience in the right time, Digital Marketing is the only solution for this. Communication is only the medium to set up a bridge between a buyer and seller, so sellers can identify the actual requirements of the buyer. It is not limited to only marketing, it is all about earning the trust of customers so that they buy our product or service. Communication skill is one of the ultimate marketing factors which  can be improved by sparing 30 minutes every day on reading a book/blog and even listening to a podcast, watching English sitcoms and Stand Up comedy. 




So this is my dream to build up myself as a successful digital marketer to make 1 crore in the initial level. So I will definitely follow the CATT model to achieve my goals. Mainly CATT marketing funnels based on niche, content, attention, trust, translation. First I will find a specific niche for the growth of my business. Before finding the niche I need to check and identify the customer's requirements. After finding this, I need to develop content and try to grab the attention to earn the trust of customers. 




Talent, passion and market opportunity will help to identify your specialization and growth of your business. The main niche is finding the right market requirements for a product. I think passion and patience are two major factors for finding the niche. Then goal Set a goal to make Rs.1 crore and design a success planning from day one till accomplishment of goal. After finding a niche, content creation is playing a greater role for attracting the product or service by the help of different digital channels. Grabbing attention is another important subject after content creation. I think sellers should be more aware regarding this point. To grab the customer's attention is the major point in this arena. Mainly it is based on age limit, location, gender etc. After grabbing attention, maintaining trust plays a better role in this arena. With the help of different digital channels, companies can attach with customers directly to get better response. After building trust, it is easy to convert from leads to sales. 

From the above discussion it is easy to understand that marketing is nothing but a perception of the market, through different steps we try to read the mind of the people. So marketing is another form of science. Branding is another tool to convey the message from seller to buyer so he/she can buy the product as per their needs. Marketing encapsulated the three different modes of marketing sales, advertising and copywriting. Marketing is very much helpful for any buyer to analyze or find out the products. So every company should be only 1 company in their niche, so they should build up themselves as a leader of their niche by proper branding. But I think branding is not for company branding it is also about personal branding. Because any company initially builds up from a single person or lot's of people of the same thinking. After getting proper branding, the company CEO or entrepreneur should be focused on better communication skills to grab the attention of the customer. They should invest time for better branding of their company. Communication skill is nothing but grammar or vocabulary; it is all about grabbing the concentration of organic clients for better growth of their business. I think any Indian entrepreneur should be aware of Global Economics and Indian Economy at all.  So study the global economics and Indian Economy to understand economic waves, industry life stages and unstoppable chances in digital space. I try to explain this topic "The Secret to Successful Digital Marketing". Lastly I want to share my personal experience in marketing / sales / branding. Before this journey I have started my career as a teacher. I provided tuition in different branches in computer science such as C, C++, Java, .net, PHP etc for BCA, B-Tech or MCA students. So at first I have no idea for the growth my tuition. So I followed tradition marketing. I did posters, banners and leaflets but unfortunately I failed. After that I developed a facebook page US-Infotech. This is my first registered company. I did classified posts, business listings, google my business etc. I have registered myself in Urbanpro. After that I have earned lots of leads and most of the leads has turned into sales. It is my very small story of my journey in traditional marketing to digital marketing. 


From my point of view I try to explain and share my personal thinking about the basics of Digital Marketing, different angles of this domain and how to apply this to get better results.
